Freixanet Saunasport finished successfully the wellness zone of the tourist complex Valbusenda, opened in September 2010.

Grupo Zamodiet relied on the large experience and the know-how of Freixanet Saunasport to develop this avant-garde project, located in the old Valbusenda estate. With 63 hectares and eight kilometres away from Toro, near the town of Peleagonzalo, it deals with the unique five star hotel in the province of Zamora. In a pioneer way, it brings together the new tourism concept, the wellness culture and the enology.

The Freixanet Wellness Professional division has been responsible for the design and the implementation of a high level spa for this original project. Its professionalism has been essential to let Valbusenda Resort offer a unique wellbeing experience to its visitors.

In this sense, the wellness space consists of an area of 800 m2, including all the benefits of the temperature contrasts and the hydrotherapy, as well as incorporating spaces for special treatments. The complex counts on the latest Freixanet’s equipments, which guarantee the state-of-the-art technology and high quality. Concretely, the spa counts on some saunas; SOFT STEAM booths, which exceptionally combine the healthy effects of the aromatherapy and the sauna heat; steam baths, caldarium and mud bath; and different hydrotherapy baths. In reference to activating the circulation of the blood and the cellular regeneration of skin, a complete shower temple has been installed, and ice fountains and pools with leisure elements as well. Finally, the project also include solarium and lockers of maximum comfort in the changing-rooms.
